• Checking basic fluids like oil and coolants.
• Replacing basic things: battery, air filters, lights.
• Monitoring tire tread wear, and why that's important.
• Monitoring brake wear.
• How to change a tire.
• How to know when belts or hoses need replacing.
• How to use an engine code scan tool.

What is a Death Cafe? It's a space where people can come to talk honestly and openly about death and the experience of grief. It's a way to make the most of our very finite lives.

Death and dying don't have to be taboo! If you've lost someone, or if you or someone you know lives with a terminal illness, please come! We would love to spend time with you.

FREE community Naloxone training session. Naloxone is an emergency medication that is used to save someone's life if they are having an opioid overdose.

Why should you learn to use Naloxone? Even if you don't know anyone who uses opioid drugs, you can still be a good neighbour when a moment of crisis comes.

The reality is, the opiate crisis is spreading in ways that most of us might not expect.

• In Canada, 72% of opioid‑related hospitalizations are accidental.
• Many people who overdose did not know they took opiates, because other recreational drugs can be contaminated.
• Regular people save lives: Most overdoses are first witnessed by a bystander. When bystanders carry Naloxone, survival rates can exceed 90%
• Two demographics are at increasing risk: Men in their 20s and 30s and seniors over the age of 65.
